Spring days

This spring Zach is taking a shot at playing little league for the first time. The other day he and Andrew were at the park getting in some practice. I think these shots turned out pretty good-but check out the video too below!

March snowfall

Since we have hardly had any snow all winter last week we got a bunch. I think the final snowfall total here was right about 14". Andrew just so happened to be out of town...how convenient-so guess who had to shovel the drive??? Our great neighbor Eric! Actually I started to shovel-the old fashion way when my next door neighbor asked if our snow blower was up and running. Andrew had taken it apart for the spring but Jody and I managed to get it put back together and even turned it on. When we took it outside-the neighbor Eric-from 4 houses down was helping another neighbor shovel her drive. He asked if he wanted me to take care of it...of course! I couldn't possibly turn down an offer like that-so I snapped a photo of our good samaritan neighbor Eric! Thanks sooooo much!

Buffs Basketball season over

Basketball season has finally come to an end and Avery and Blake were there to make sure they got their face painted before it was all over!

Malea's wedding

When we first moved to Colorado we found an amazing babysitter named Malea but she is all grown up and got married this last weekend. While the kids were mostly in charge of the camera-you should see some of the pictures-I did manage to get a great shot of them! I love when everyone is smiling!

For a while I have been wanting curtains but was never really sure I could pull it off-making my own curtains but......I did. They may not look like too much but I made them myself and I think they look great! The only bad part is that now I am going through the house on a crazy decorating craze! I just changed up the kids bathroom too. That one with some zebra stuff. When it is complete I will take a photo too! I even found a before picture!

Beautiful days!

Over the last few weeks we have had some amazingly beautiful days! When the weather is just right we head to the park which is only a short walk away-one this particular day-Blake started to go down the "big" slide all by himself. He was having such a great time and laughing that I can only hope that my pictures were able to capture the fun he was having.

Happy President's Day

Since Andrew had the day off we went down to the Children's Museum of Denver with the kids. Zach was probably a little old for most of the stuff but Avery and Blake loved it. It was a great family day and also wonderful to have dad with us!
