Ballet camp video 1

After her little 3-day camp this is a video of her little recital they did. That's my girl!

Avery goes to ballet camp!

This was Avery's first experience with any type of organized dancing...she is the one in the pink tutu. I didn't get many pictures but I do have video which is almost better! I think she liked it but I know I sure enjoyed slicking back her hair into a little bun and putting a bow in her hair!

Happy Birthday Avery!

Look who's 3! We had a pool party for Avery this year as it seems to be a good venue for us-unfortunately the party was cut short because of the weather. It think the kids still had fun. We had cake and they all got to swim for a while before the lightning started. She had fun and she thinks she is having another birthday on Friday! Enjoy the photos! Some are from the party and some are pics at the house when she was trying on some of her gifts. The funny thing was the pink cowboy boots were from Daddy and unbeknownst to us, her PopPop got her the vest and chaps! She is all geared up now!

Summer Fun

Here is a collection of random stuff we did for this summer. From a sidewalk art show in denver to playing in the yard to the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo a couple weeks ago. It has been a busy summer.

Schools out!

Right before Zach headed out to NY for the summer he had his best buddies over to play! They look like they had a lot of fun don't you think?

1st haircut!

Blake had his first haircut on June 11th. We cut off his little curls and I was so emotional. I shed a few tears knowing that this was the last "first" haircut I would have, but boy he sure looks cute!

Family vacation

In the month of June we had the chance to go and visit our dear friends the Farlows. Their youngest daughter Morgan was being baptized and they asked us to be her godparents. We were so honored and excited to be such a special part of her life! After the baptism we spent a few days at Disney and Sea World. It was a hot vacation...check out the photos by clicking on the Family Vacation link!

Quick catch up!

I know, I know it has been a really long time! I will try to recap our lives in the past few months with pictures. One month at a time along with a brief description of the month. Just click on the underlined words to see the pictures!
Aloha!
We can start with May. We started our month in Hawaii for a wonderful vacation for just Andrew & i. Call it our honeymoon/5th anniversary trip. It was great and we are planning ot go back again in the next few years. My parents came in town and stayed with the kids for some grandparent/grandchild bonding while we were there.

At last!

The following week we headed to El Paso to see my brother Josiah comission into the Army as an officer and also graduate from college at UTEP. It was so exciting to see him-he seems so grown up now. I am sooooo proud of him!

The week after that I participated in a town fair selling baby burp cloths and also had a booth with The Body Shop. In the last week of May-Zach got out of school, and I turned 32! What a busy month!

Step 1, 2, 3

I can't believe it! He is walking! For about a week he was taking one step and then he would fall down. Here he is on the 31st of March!!!! I have other video but it is on my old video camera which I can't convert to put on the web. In this take he probably took about 6 steps total but my camera was out of space and of course when I wanted him to do it again, he would have non of it. The next video of him walking will be this weekend though so you can stil tell he is barely learning!

Happy Easter

The kids had a great Easter! The Easter bunny made it to our house despite the fact that it snowed the night before! That bunny is pretty amazing! Here are some shots of the kids all dressed up in their Easter best. http://www.flickr.com/photos/thewheelerfamily/show/

Andrew's dad came down for the weekend too which the kids loved. Here is a video of Pop Pop reading an Ariel book to Avery!

Since I am not busy enough...

Since I didn't seem to have enough to do with watching the kids, working a part time business, returning to school and all of the other household chores-I decided to take an online digital scrapbooking class. I think I can be creative at times but never really got into scrapbooking. It was a bit to overwhelming to me but here is my stab at the digital version. Besides-I can't really imagine having more stuff in the house for the little ones to destroy! Check out my first page!
