First words!
Blake said his first words today! Avery and I were playing with him in his room after his nap and we were rolling the ball with him when he said ball! I was so shocked I had to get him to say it a few more times and even called Zach over to see if I was hearing things. It took him a while but then he said it to Zach too! "Ball" Yeahhhh!!!!! Now if I can get that on video!
Ready for the princess party!
Avery went to a friends birthday party where the girls were supposed to dress up like princesses. We went all out and had so much fun! Don't forget to see the mini princess slideshow!

Happy Birthday Blake!
Looks who turned 1! Blake enjoyed his own cake at his little birthday party! We had his godparents Kelly and Alex and their kids over along with some other friends Tyler and Erica and their kids as well. He got a little riding firetruck from our friends and a little baseball toy, a little barnyard car that he can chase and some clothes from family! I wish I had more pictures-trying to keep him out of the cake was a challenge enough. We forgot the hat and so I snapped a picture with the hat the next morning.
He is getting so big and I can hardly believe how the time has flown. He is cruising the furniture and has 6 teeth with more coming. (lots of drooling lately) He will babble mama and dada and I think he is saying yes and I think I also heard cracker. He loves Avery and she loves to tickle him although she is not always gentle he is learning to be tough. Zach is so protective of him and is a great helped when it comes to taking care of him. He will often get him out of bed and both the kids are so excited when he first wakes up-they act like he has been sleeping for days! He still has those beautiful baby blue eyes and hopefully this means he will keep them. He likes to laugh and scrambles when you are chasing him and had a great little belly laugh. I will have to get that one on video soon so I can share it. What a different household we have now and I wouldn't want it any other way. I love you my little Blake!

One day later...still in one of her favorite shirts
Avery conveniently disappears during the day often times and usually is up to no good. This day she got a sharpie marker from Zach's room and decided to mark all over herself. This was on the 6th and she still has it on her 5 days later! She must be 2 1/2 right. Oh and you can't help but check out her favorite shoes from Grandma. Check out the whole outfit in the Christmas Day slideshow by clicking on the Christmas Day title posting below.

My little Brother
After 3 wonderful weeks with my brother
Isaiah. Unfortunately he had to return to his post at
Ft. Gordon, GA. We had such a great time with him visiting
and now that he is almost done with his training
it is hard to say when we will see him next. I
am so glad that we had this time to relax and enjoy
his company. If all goes well we will see him again in
El Paso in May when Josiah graduates from college and
gets commissioned as an officer to start his military
career in the Army.
Love you Isaiah!
