Someone had a birthday yesterday. I turned the big 30! I had such a great day. We had a busy day with swimming lessons and errands. But in the morning I got my big gift. Andrew bought me a brand new bike! I also got several accessories to go along with it. Later on in the day we had a birthday party, probably my first real birthday party in years...many years. We had lots of people over and had a great time. We had lots of friends from the neighborhood over and a lot of others friends from Andrew's work. I was so amazed at the turnout. Everyone was so nice and sweet. I received so many lovely gifts-a nano ipod, candles, bath and body products, wine, champagne, crocs, napkins rings, a spa gift card, a pedicure gift certificate, flowers, and earings. Thank you all so much! I am so humbled by everyones generosity and kindness. From the gifts to the cards and even to those who wouldn't even let me clean at the party! Thank you! It was a great party that lasted quite a while. Here are some candid shots....we had a great time! My best birthday party ever!

Andrew grilling up some outstanding burgers and brawts!

Did I mention that the party even had a Bounce Round for the kids...and for the birthday girl at the end of the party!

The day was beautiful but the company was the best by far

Just some of the party-goers from yesterday!

And some more...

And some more.

It was all fun and games ...

...until people started getting hurt!

With my brother in town Zach is learning how to play chess. I think they played 4 times and guess who won??? Josiah of course. It is great for Zach to learn though. He is happy to have his uncle here.

My brother Josiah came in town yesterday to spend some time with the family and to take a break after this last semester at school. He will be here for 2 weeks and we are so happy to have him here. Avery has really taken too him and is always smiling at him. Here is a pic of them on the couch earlier.

Look who is crawling! Avery started crawling on Wednesday of last week. She is quite the mover now.

While swimming lessons are fun....bath time in the WARM water is so much better!

The kids are taking swimming lessons at the YMCA. Zach is brushing up on swimming for the summer and is doing a great job. Avery on the other hand likes the water...as long as you don't dunk her under.

What a busy week we have had. Avery started crawling on Wednesday of last week and Andrew's mom Mary Jo came in town this weekend for a visit. Here are just a few of our most recent pictures from crawling to swimming lessons, and beyond.

Since I am usually the photographer there aren't alot of pics of me with the kids. Here is one though so you all know I am still around. Avery and I were in the office earlier today and she was laughing at herself.

I bought Avery this little dress and just thought she looked adorable. Don't you agree?

Last night Zach had a 1st grade singing show. It was adorable. They sang song for both Mother's and Father's day. They even had some little dance moves incorporated into the songs. I took a bit of video that didn't turn out to well and a few pictures too. I wasn't such a good photographer last night. We were all so proud of him. He is on the top row at the right side end.
