Sunday night Zachary experienced good old boyhood. While in his room cleaning out his closet Zach was jumping around and slipped only to fall face first into the frame of his bed. He split open his left eye on his eyebrow. At first as usual it seems worse than it really is because there seemed to be a lot of blood but after applying pressure with a cold wet rag we realized that a trip to the hospital wouldn't be necessary. Here is a picture of him the day after. And now, 3 days later it is starting to turn into a bit of a black eye.

Today they poured the concrete and this is the stamp pattern that they are placing down! Keep your fingers crossed because this should be done by the end of the week!!!

Here is the next step in our landscaping!

Ah the fun of buying a new house with no landscaping!!!! We are barely getting the backyard landscaped and we are so excited. This was the first day they were out in the yard clearing the way in order to form the patio.

She always tends to look so big in the pictures so I thought this one may put it into perspective. She fits in the sink. Likes to look at herself in the mirror while in there too. I can leave her in there while I apply make-up and brush my teeth. She likes to be wherever I am so this works out good!

My parents came in town from England for a couple of weeks. The spent the first weeks at home in El Paso and then for the second week they came out to visit us in Colorado before they head back. It has been great having them in town. They are enjoying spending time with the kids. They can hardly believe how adorable Avery is and how big Zach is getting. Friday, Zach was out of school and so we went to the Denver Museum of Science and Nature. Then after the museum we all had dinner at my Aunt Joan's house in Denver with her daughter Lisa and her boyfriend Ron. We went to the CU vs. ISU game on Saturday...That was a close one. We have been doing errands and relaxing. We even went up to Boulder to show them the CU campus as my brother Josiah thinks he would like to come to CU to get his master's once he is finished with school at UTEP. It is nice to have them here especially since it might be a while before we see them again. My how time flies! I think they have had a good time too.
