Zach has always skiied in ski school but this time he ventured out with dad for the afternoon. He is doing such a great job. We plan on going again this year so hopefully before the season is over he will be feeling really comfortable.
The day after Christmas we headed up to Copper Mountain for a day of skiing with friends. While Avery and I tried to stay warm,
Zach and Andrew enjoyed the skiing. Zach
took a half day lesson and then got to ski with dad. He is getting so good!

Some of Avery's most exciting parts of the night were getting her banana from the stocking which was almost as
big as she was and sitting in her sled that Pop Pop gave her. She loves it!

Merry Christmas! Zach made it home late on Christmas day but within plenty of time to open gifts and celebrate late into the night. We had a great night and I think everyone enjoyed their gifts. Zach loved that Bionicle from uncle Josiah and Isaiah seems to like his new Timberland shoes picked out by Andrew. Avery loved her new outfit from Granny so much that she felt the need to put on the bloomers immediately...over her Pj's and she also thought the pretend food was tasty...see the chips from Grandma & Grandpappy! It was a great Christmas and it was very nice to have my brother here to spend it with us!

What a beautiful snow....we wish Zach could have been here to see it!

This is a picture of the yard between our house and our neighbors. You can barely even see Travis' fence. Andrew is in the middle of the street. It is a winter wonderland!

This is when we opened our side door. And one of my favorites is Isaiah's car from the back side. It was parked on the side street in the front yard. And here is the back yard.

Lots more snow!

We had to shovel our way out of the garage. This was a new experience for my brother I am sure...ahhh Colorado snow! It sure is beautiful.

This is my car outside from last night to this morning. The Holiday Blizzard of 2006! 25 inches in Erie!

Manny & Paul were just relaxing and enjoying the party when we cranked it up a notch and introduced.....KARAOKE!

Isaiah was singing his version of I'm too sexy!

Chuck really belted it out complete with actions and all!

What a great party!

Here are some of my favorite shots of the night!
This last weekend we had a Christmas party and it was a blast! Here are some pictures of our neighbors and friends.
Heidi, Crystal and Dione

Lance, Chuck and Jim

Meghan & Ali
Alissa, myself, Becky and Kelly

Christmas picture time and don't they look great! Maybe it is a little too matchy, but I couldn't resist. Avery likes her outfit so much that this morning she put it on over her pj's and wore it around all morning. Zach looks so big too. He has grown an inch at least since his birthday in September. I can hardly believe another year is passing! WOW!

Alissa hosted a gingerbread tree decorating date at her house for some of the neighborhood kids. They all had a fun time even though they made a disaster to clean up.
Look at this progress! This is the tv room with the guest room in the bachground.
Here is Isaiah working in the bathroom.

And this is the other side of the tv room with the bathroom in the background!
Pretty cool huh!
Andrew & Zach are cutting concrete in order to have some plumbing reworked.
Once the concrete was broken out Zach helped to fill the trash with concrete.

Andrew and my dad then took all of the concrete
and hauled it to the front of the house so that we
could take it to the dump.

Even though there was a lot of working going on Pappy always has time for his granddaughter!!!

What a Happy Thanksgiving we had! Josiah flew in from El Paso and my Aunt Joan and Cousin Lisa came up from Denver. It was the first Thanksgiving we had had together in 3 years. We were so thankful!

This is our basement before. Not really much
too it. Just a bare and empty space.

Once we had all that wood delivered though...
wait till you see the progress...

My mom joined our book club and came to our meeting in November and December. We read, We are all the Same. We all received bookmarks and a (RED) pin.

Avery's hair is finally getting to the point where we can kind of pin it up in a barrette...that is until you tell her she looks pretty at which point she promptly pulls it out of her hair. She looks so big with her hair up, doesn't she?

We went to take the Celestial Seasonings tour
in Boulder. Before you can enter the plant hair-
nets for everyone. Don't they look great!
